The week went by so quickly – lots of work in the garden, lots of cooking, blogging every. single. day. (my personal challenge…) and of course, making sure that Csermely is having fun. It was a bit of a rough week for her, 3 more teeth pushed through!, and she is happily becoming more and more independent with each passing day, which, of course, is good for all of us!
She is tidy in her own way, arranging bowls and pans, transferring this and that toy, straightening the rug anytime the edge folds over…dragging the chair to the table when it is time to eat, wanting to help with washing the diapers, she is an awesome little addition to our farm (I can already see her excited to fetch the chicken eggs, sans rooster of course – for this I have a story to write about someday as I suppose every farmer has).
Our kitchen table drawer is an assortment of fascination for her, with many things she can’t yet have, however the deck of cards entertained her for nearly an hour while dinner was on the stove one evening. She was extremely ecstatic about the spades, pointing to the ceiling as she had seen wild ducks and geese in the sky on our walk earlier in the day.
It was a wonderful week, by and by.
Just a little reminder of our giveaway this Saturday, for all those interested in crafty-wooly-sheepy things…
