If you are a farming or gardening homesteader too, I’ll make a proposition here for us all.
Quit acting like a sacrificial lamb on the alter when you produce food! While I am not suggesting to become a Greek philosopher just sitting in the shade of the orange grove, I do propose to quick build shade and celebrate the fruit of pleasurable work under its protection.
Farming and gardening should be the activity to unleash vital energies – seems counter intuitive to me that for most it acts as a life sucker. Farming and gardening should keep your body and mind flexible, not stiffened in mistaken beliefs like a tomato stake. They should tighten your skin with healthy life juices, containing lots of solids, not lymphatic ones. Neither is there a reason for these activities – when done intelligently – to make you look like a raisin, prematurely.
If you can agree with me, find more on this topic in my forum post.
My sustainable life design services are two-prong: through online consultancy, along with Cheryl, I give you and your family guidance for the volunteer one-way path of living life sustainably, while your small business can benefit from my in-person sustainability audit and the according future work-life plan layout, accomplished in the quality of fly-in consultant.
As tour guide in and around Breb, our home village in Maramureș County, northwestern Romania, I can bring sustainable living straight to your senses.
