Even if it may seem far-fetched at first hearing, let me start by reminding us of our universal and involuntary trait as humans’ to irradiate energy into our environment and the universe. Most of us can intercept this radiation at various degrees and a few of us can even see it with their bare eyes in form of auras. Either way, this is a clear reflection of our mental-spiritual-physical health status, with happiness or the lack of it woven between those waves each of us continuously diffuses in space.
By extension then, let’s just say, it is safe to assume that beyond the animal kingdom, emanating of satisfaction or dissatisfaction characterizes those without nervous system as well, so fungi, plants, populations of single species, guilds of flora, eco-habitats, entire landscapes, regions of interconnecting landscapes with all the living creatures in.
What’s even more exciting to fathom is the possibility of the inanimate world also being apt to turn the different grades of its harmony or imbalance into messages for those perceptive to such fine communication. This power I refer to is none of the kind seismic monitoring instruments can detect. So listen to the rocks, the dry, loose sand shifting under your feet and the water quenching your thirst. See past your own reflection on the water surface. Become sensitive to what they have to share with you beyond the obvious.
Genuinely feeling the oneness with the planet carrying us all, lends the Earth not quantitative but qualitative attributes of a living, feeling super organism.
If you and us have gotten this far in our “hypersensitivity”, let’s start being very-very mindful every time we dig a hole or build a dirt mound, however small or large, when piling up rocks to divert water flow or when we are about to drain a piece of land of its life-juice water. Be convinced that the change we intend to inflict on the land is one towards creating a greater level of harmony or else, don’t do it.
Along these same thoughts, now imagine that everything the land produces, offers for our take from the water, tomatoes, apples, eggs, milk, fish, pork and down to the last crystal of rock salt, nourishes us the best if they are all treated with loving respect. On the opposite end of the range one finds feeding and filling.
We can all feel the difference on our own taste buds, in the memories they have helped our minds store through the course of several years, decades, that food quality, the ability of our meals to fulfill (not just fill), by and large has drastically plummeted. Along has gone the quality of life – a meaningful one, that is.
Well, I hope you agree that now is the time to reverse these tendencies. Not to an arbitrary past. To a future unparallelled yet in its depth of understanding nature’s patterns, of genuine collaboration on all levels, of virtue being attributed to an eco-minimalist moderation, of competition being frowned on as anachronistic, socially, spiritually disruptive and therefore unacceptable behavior.
Choosing to live in the company of like-minded people, enjoying mutual support to our aspirations is finally an inescapable and highly desirable way of life at once. A commitment well-worth making for the synergistic powers it brings to the life of all participants. So that well-nourished, these entities of happiness can branch out and multiply in every direction, much like the plants of the image on top.
Because time has come to share happiness and joy of life with the larger world. To influence it authentically in making that paradigm shift we have already experienced some benefits of.
Yes, we do wish to influence and with your help this can soon become a greater reality. A choice outsiders cannot ignore. A choice they voluntarily pick up on and start spreading.
