Oh yes! Because no one should get this wrong: what we argue for in our blog is by no means an incapacitated slowness of the body or the mind. Not deliberate restraining of power manifestations to some arbitrary levels akin to those seen at different rehabilitation centers.
No, dear reader – this is not the lifestyle we suggest you follow. What we propose is much rather a wise, aware readiness, not unlike a mature feline predator’s tendons: they know how to fold into resting position, but when the moment calls for it, they stretch in exhilaration.
In other words attune yourself to nature that surrounds you. Respect diurnal and seasonal changes, feel invigorated by the airflow, be dynamized with each raindrop pounding your skin, the rhythmic sound of waves, the draw of the water mass in a riverbed. Be vigorously hopeful when the sun rises and contemplate softly as the nightfall pulls its dimming curtain over your consciousness.
It has happened before that we were doing our repetitious garden work when, out of nowhere, a huge storm gushed in. We barely had enough time to throw the tools on the ground and run inside the house before lightnings were whipping all over and the downpour set in. We had to react fast.
Following a morning routine, performing the well-known, almost meditative act of starting the fire, our quick reaction and decision-making has already saved us from a chimney fire escalate into something worse, potentially burning our home down.
We are grateful to our fate that thus far our financial situation hasn’t allowed us jump right at the stage of building a new home without previously mulling it thoroughly over how exactly we want to go by it. Relative riches at a premature stage could have rendered a future one-of-a-kind home to end up being laden with incongruences, impurities – so disharmony – as result to possible compromises settled for in the big haste, the lustfulness of affordability.
So be patient with life, but once the right time has arrived, do not waste a moment. Our challenge is to intuitively and intelligently recognize when this is.
