Without clutter and excess stuff our homes are full of space – and that is exactly what is needed for a healthy and creative life. If your home is a cause of mental or emotional stress then relaxation at the end of a long working day is difficult. When you learn to keep possessions to a minimum, the worry and tension of buying and keeping things is reduced to the reassuring thought: “I already have enough”.
After an uncluttering session you will, once again,““ be able to relax in a tidy space. Gather the knowledge, then move room to room on your own or ask for help along the way.
Decluttering is a continuous process of removing what becomes unnecessary.
Uncluttering is about removing the clutter, the excess – and not letting it accumulate again.
The level of commitment is up to the individual, while the rewards of living with less are immeasurable.
You may consider hiring a professional unclutterer, if:
- You work from home and navigate between piles of paperwork and daily clutter of life
- Your kids have more toys/games/electronics than you think are beneficial for their wellbeing
- You are relocating or trying to sell your home
- Your grownup children are starting university
- You have recently been through divorce and are dealing with excess unclaimed baggage
- You have experienced death in the family or have inherited much stuff that does not interest you in the slightest
- Perhaps you are retiring or downsizing
- You get newly married and wonder how to merge your belongings together…
Cheryl has been a dedicated minimalist for more than 10 years, currently she owns a backpack and a half of personal belongings and nothing more. Growing up in a consumer culture in the suburbs of Chicago she stayed grounded by spending long weekends in the forests of Wisconsin and by participating in Girl Scouts all throughout school. After graduating university, Cheryl got married and spent 5 years in Seattle, Washington, where she started her own, novel at the time, business called Natural Housecleaning, where she utilized all natural cleaning methods using essential oils and zero chemicals.
After a move abroad to Hungary where she could only take minimal belongings, her life was changed dramatically, once and for all. That was the start of minimalism, or essentialism, as it were. It is a lifestyle that she carries on her back and shares with the world.
As a professional organizer with over a decade-long experience in minimalism and natural housecleaning, I am here to gently guide you on your way to boldly embrace the possibility of living with less – much less, in fact, than you could have ever imagined.
If your home is cluttered and your belongings are weighing you down, I am here to help, wherever you are in the world. Virtual uncluttering is a novel way to guide you gently into getting rid of the kind of life and things you no longer need, eliminating the stuff that does not make you happy.

Please allow 48 hours for the first email exchange, at which point you will receive a questionnaire and then the great uncluttering will be under way. Work at your own speed, in the privacy of your own home, only sharing the pictures that you choose of your progress as you go.
And… until April 30th, 2017, because of the rising, rampant consumerism filling the world, I believe we all need access to decluttering helping hands, so, my virtual uncluttering services are Pay What You Can.
